Sargent Irrigation - Efficiency Pump Test Program
The Sargent PEP Program is a complete test of your pump and well with precision calibrated equipment. The pump test includes flow measurement, pumping water level, and discharge pressure. The input horsepower is measured on engine powered installations with an industrial torque measuring drive shaft and on electric installations with a digital kilowatt meter. Sargent PEP testing technicians are trained to get the most accurate readings possible and recognize symptoms of possible pump and well problems which may increase operating costs and decrease reliability.
Test data is entered into a computer program which analyzes your pump and well. A complete print out shows all operating conditions, efficiency levels, and annual operating costs of your installation. This information will show where pump condition, pump design, or well condition and design may be driving annual costs above were they should be. Annual operating cost on projected repair or redesign of your pump compared to present conditions will show projected savings for accurate information on making cost and return decisions.
