complex systems, water wells are a conglomerate of man made equipment, the forces
of nature, and available water quality. Pumping the well creates a flow of water
toward the well casing which in turn, can cause the buildup of scale and/or iron
sulfate bacteria for a decrease in well yield and increase in pumping depth.
